Swoosh! Tubing at Tussey

19 boys and a few brave adults came out to Tussey Mountain on Monday for one of the boys’ favorite events of the year – Tubing at Tussey!  The Troop first tried this a few years ago and it was an immediate hit.  It’s something they make sure shows up on every calendar!

While we were worried when we canceled the week before, the PLC rearranged some schedules and worked out an even better night for tubing.  Not only was the weather fantastic – crisp, snowy and cool – but we managed to show up on the annual discount night.  $10 for an evening of tubing – it’s hard to beat!

During this year’s event, the Troop invited out the Webelos IIs from the Pack.  It was hard to slow them down to ask if they were having fun, but by the time we had to leave the decision was unanimous.  The Webelos decided that the troop really knows how to have some fun.  We’re looking forward to having those young men join us after their Arrow of Light Ceremony!
