Jack ‘Pappy’ White (May 11, 1931 – Nov 30, 2014)

Many of you have not met Jack, a Scoutmaster from Troop 45, but you’ve heard the name.  Every year, he made it a point to visit the boys at camp.  Every year, you could count on seeing a donation from him.  And always, he had a heart for Scouting.

Pappy’s obituary can be on the Centre Daily Times web site.

He is currently registered as an Assistant Scoutmaster with our troop.  But it is with sadness that we deliver the news that our friend and fellow scouter, Jack ‘Pappy’ White, passed away at home on November 30th.   He was 83.

The brothers of Monaken Lodge #103 will be holding a Broken Arrow Service to honor the life of the late Jack H. “Pappy” White. The service will be held at 6:30pm, on Thursday December 4th, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home located at 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Centre Hall, PA. All brothers are encouraged to attend this ceremony in full uniform and sash.
